CISPA researchers awarded for CCS Best Student Paper

The CISPA researchers Alexey Reznichenko and Paul Francis were awarded for the Best Student Paper at CCS 2014. They presented their research paper “Private-by-Design Advertising Meets the Real World”. The group of Paul Francis has a long-lasting success in developing outstanding solutions for privacy-preserving online behavioral advertising, this time showing their applicability in a real-world scenario.

ACM CCS, the 21st ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security, is one of the largest and most renown IT security conferences worldwide. The 2014 ACM CCS took place in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA, from November 3rd to 7th. In total CISPA researchers had three succesful papers and two posters at this year’s CCS.
