CISPA students Jens Heyens, Kai Greshake and Eric Petryka will be awarded with the “Dieter-Meurer-Förderpreis Rechtsinformatik”.
This award is offered by the German Data Processing Court Day and the juris GmbH.
The cybersecurity students at Saarland University discovered security gaps in nearly 40,000 databases. They published a documentation of their findings as a part of their work at CISPA and informed the competent authorities regarding IT security incidents.
