The recruitment of highly talented students and young researchers in Cybersecurity and Privacy constitutes a key part of CISPA’s development and growth strategy.

Our mission. We aim at recruiting, educating, and guiding future researchers at all stages of their scientific career, starting with their undergraduate studies at Saarland University, continuing with the postgraduate master or PhD studies, and leading up to the promotion of young researchers at the postdoctoral or junior faculty level.

Unique location. CISPA is located in Saarbruecken, in south-western Germany, in the greater region area of Germany, France, and Luxembourg. The area offers a high standard of living at affordable cost, beautiful surroundings, and easy access to major metropolitan cities in central Europe. The working language is English. The research center is part of the Saarland Informatics Campus, home to other well-renowned institutes such as the Max Planck Institutes for Informatics and for Software Systems, the German Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), etc. In accordance with the Equal Opportunity Plan, the institute aims at increasing the number of women in Computer Science and explicitly encourages women to apply.
